Dear subscriber, if you're anything like the rest of us on the planet, you also enjoy a little encouragement when your day is not going as planned. Daily—occasionally—every other day... Randomly refreshing like a sudden spritz in the face on a muggy afternoon. Don't we love to be on the receiving end? But sadly, we seldom think of being on the giving end. That's a challenge for all of us, especially when life is tough. A sure-fire fix is just a smile away. Smile at a stranger and see the boomerang return. Your mood will suddenly lift—guaranteed. So, when you're up against it and don't much feel like showing your teeth, warm up those muscles and smile deliciously. Endorphins will flow, your stress level will drop, and you'll see two people's days improve. |
